Meet Brooke

In 1945, Brooke Dougherty's grandfather bought a plot of land for $1000 in the Outer Richmond neighborhood of San Francisco to build a home for himself and his family. He would always say that he had no idea what the land was worth, but he made the purchase anyway because he trusted the real estate man and believed him when he said it was a great opportunity. Although vacant lots are a rarity nowadays, Brooke strives to be like the real estate man her grandfather described: trustworthy and someone on whom you can count.

 

Brooke guides her clients toward winning transactions with her honesty, straightforwardness, and sincerity. And with a master's degree in counseling psychology, she also helps her clients deal with the emotional side of real estate whether it's strategizing negotiations or determining the most important goal for each buyer and seller. She knows how to close the deal while achieving a ubiquitous level of client happiness and satisfaction.

 

Much of Brooke's client success comes from street smarts, literally. A California native, she lived in various San Francisco neighborhoods throughout the years; Nob Hill, Cole Valley, NOPA, Pacific Heights, and Duboce Triangle/Lower Haight, to name a few before settling in Woodside with her husband.

 

But while yearning for familiarity with a baby on the way, Brooke and her husband moved back to her native Orinda just in time for the birth of their first son. Brooke's knowledge of each Bay Area neighborhood's singular, authentic personality goes far beyond what the latest local guides might say. Brooke does what it takes to connect great people with great properties. She may be a bit unconventional, but her clients wouldn't have it any other way. Her grandfather would be proud. In her free time, you might find Brooke taking a morning stroll in Orinda with her two young boys or swimming with seals in the beautiful San Francisco Bay.
