Mary DeVries is the founder of Abacus Real Estate. Drawn to the business after a decades-long career as a San Francisco-based architect and developer, Mary has a deep understanding of a building’s intricacies, from the seismic to the stylistic. Using a distinctive skill set, including the ability to find data that many agents don’t know how to look for, she guides her clients towards informed, intelligent real estate decisions.

A New York native, her artistic endeavors extend beyond real estate, as she’s also a respected sculptor and supporter of numerous arts organizations, such as The Carving Studio & Sculpture Center. She also supports other initiatives, including SF-Marin Food Bank, Habitat for Humanity, and First Graduate, and she enjoys spending time with her family, cycling, diving, and traveling. Mary holds a degree in architecture from the University of Michigan and is a member of Top Agent Network, a prestige awarded to only the top 10% of San Francisco agents.
